The  “HEART OF COMPASSION” is well described  here.  Forgiveness is to be in us as it is in God!  Love is a must... it’s the perfect bond of unity.  The peace of Christ is to rule in our hearts as we engage the Church... the Body of Christ.  In all, we need to be thankful!

Col 3:12-15     So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience;  13  bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.  14  Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.  15  Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Our Prayer:
O Lord, You have taught us how to think and how to behave in order to have the peace of Christ.
Give us always this  heart of compassion.  May the character traits mentioned be our very nature.  We have every reason in eternity to forgive... help us to always forgive!  May love permeate our nature fully.   Give us the peace of Christ, O God.  Help us to remember the place of the Body of Christ, the Church, in our lives.  Make thanksgiving natural for us.  We have so much to be thankful for.  In the name of our Lord,   Amen.
